There are many website designers who will simply design you a great looking website, take your money and then move onto the next project.
We like to be different. We want your website to succeed and for us that generally means it generates new business for you. I haven't come across anyone yet who doesn't want their website to be seen by as many people as possible!
To get your website seen it generally has to rank well on the various search engines for your important search terms. You probably have a good idea what some of them are and we can work together to build the list.
We will then design your website with those terms in mind and find other relevant website's to swap links with to attract the various search engines.
Beware of others who promise to submit your site to 5000 or so search engines. There probably aren't 5000, many of them will be nothing more than directories. You need to get listed by the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN and Altavista.
All the search engines have a link submission page but even Google suggests you don't need to use it as they will find you, and they find you from links on other website's.
First off we will put a link on our site. If we have helped create or improve your site then we will be proud to be associated with you and therefore will put at least one link on our site. That will be picked up within a week, probably a day, by the major search engines and they will then follow links on your site to find all your pages.
You won't appear in the search engines straight away, and if you have a new domain name then it can take 6 to 9 months to appear in Google, but you will get there eventually. Unfortunately there is no shortcut where Google is concerned.
Another way to increase you website traffic is by using Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising. We use Google Adwords which we find to be very good. Hoses are small adverts that Google will display on other sites and you only pay when someone click on your advert. The adverts are always displayed amongst relevant pages and in search results.
